We believe decisions for our community should be made by our community. Our fund allocation process is entirely driven our local donors and supporters. This volunteer committee reviews all programs applying for funding and gives recommendations for grants to the Board of Directors. They also review existing partnerships to ensure those partnerships are doing their part to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families who struggle financially in Whatcom County. Employee Campaign Coordinator

Every good workplace campaign needs a passionate campaign coordinator or two. You believe in United Way. You believe in community. As an employee campaign coordinator, you can inspire your co-workers to bask in those feel-good fuzzies you get when you give (Yes, they’re real. Just ask Science). We'll work with you to plan a workplace campaign that is fun and also impactful.

Project Homeless Connect

At this one-day, one-stop event, you can help offer high-value services and generous hospitality for our neighbors in Whatcom County who are unsheltered or experiencing a housing crisis. Guests receive dental services, medical exams, haircuts, employment screenings, housing intakes, and more.
