Choose to be a Leader Leadership Givers contribute an annual personal gift of $1,000 or more to the annual United Way Campaign. In 2002, 240 community members participated in the program. The Alexis De Toqueville Society is United Way's special Leadership Giving Program for donors who give a personal gift of $10,000 or more to the annual United Way Campaign. 2002 members of the Alexis de Toqueville Society are:
